Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking or attending a session, you agree to the following guidelines and understandings.

Nature of Services

Dark Sister provides coaching and guidance services that are spiritual, reflective, and educational in nature. These services are not a substitute for medical care, psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, or legal advice. No diagnosis, prescription, or medical treatment is provided. Clients are responsible for their own medical, psychological, legal, and financial decisions and should seek licensed professionals for those needs.

Eligibility

  • You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into this Agreement.

  • You participate voluntarily and accept full responsibility for your own choices, actions, and outcomes.

  • You agree not to record, reproduce, or share sessions without prior written consent.

Booking and Payment

  • All sessions must be booked and paid in advance through the designated booking system.

  • Payment secures your session time. All major credit and debit cards are accepted through secure checkout powered by Stripe.

  • Once a session has been delivered, payments are non-refundable.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance are fully refundable.

  • Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed entirely, are charged in full and are non-refundable.

  • Failure to attend a session without prior notice constitutes a forfeited session.

  • Refunds or reschedules outside these terms may be granted solely at Dark Sister’s discretion.

Confidentiality and Privacy

  • All sessions are conducted via Signal, a privacy-first platform with end-to-end encryption.

  • Please be aware that electronic communications always carry some risk. Dark Sister isn’t responsible for interruptions or issues beyond our control.

  • Dark Sister maintains strict confidentiality. Your identity, personal details, and session content will not be disclosed.

  • The only exception is if disclosure is compelled by law (such as a valid court order or subpoena).

Boundaries of the Work

  • Sessions are designed for personal exploration, reflection, and strategy.

  • Dark Sister reserves the right to refuse or terminate sessions if a Client displays abusive, harmful, or inappropriate behavior.

  • Dark Sister may terminate services with full refund if inappropriate conduct occurs before or during the session.

  • Misrepresentation or misuse of services may result in immediate termination without refund.

Insurance Disclosure

Dark Sister maintains professional liability insurance. This coverage exists to protect both you and Dark Sister in the unlikely event of a claim. Participation in sessions is voluntary and undertaken at the Client’s own risk.

Limitation of Liability

  • Dark Sister makes no guarantees regarding specific results or outcomes.

  • The Client accepts full responsibility for decisions and actions taken following any session.

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dark Sister and its affiliates, members, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or use, arising out of or related to participation in sessions, programs, or services.

  • Liability for any claim shall in no event exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific session or service giving rise to the claim.

Intellectual Property

  • Any materials shared during or after sessions are original work. You’re welcome to use them for your personal reflection, but they can’t be copied or shared without written permission.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Business Entity

Dark Sister is operated by Driftwood Associates LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Acceptance

By booking and paying for a session, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full and confirm your understanding of their contents.

Changes to Terms & Conditions

Dark Sister may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the date of the most recent update.
